Get started with GeneaDesk
- Install the extensionOpen the official GeneaDesk listing in Chrome Web Store and choose “Add to Chrome”.
- Open GeneaDeskLaunch it from the Chrome extensions menu.
- Read the helpFind instructions for FamilySearch, sign-in and limitations on the help page.
Chrome safety notice
Chrome may show “This extension is not trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing”. GeneaDesk is new and has not yet built a trusted reputation in this system. This notice alone does not mean malware was detected or guarantee safety.
Keep Enhanced Safe Browsing enabled. Review the description, permissions and privacy policy. If you consciously trust the project, you can choose “Continue to install”.
